A druid and an elder of the Gaul tribe suddenly broke both legs after falling from a tree. Realizing that he can no longer be the only one who knows the recipe for a magic potion that gives power, he turns to Asterix and Obelix. The inseparable couple will have to help the old man find a worthy successor. To fulfill the mission entrusted to them, Asterix and Obelix set off on a journey full of unexpected encounters and adventures.

We have known them for a long time. We love them for a long time. And even though after the films Asterix vs. Caesar and Asterix - Mission 'Cleopatra' not all the adventures of well-known Gauls were of the highest quality, we will not stop loving them.

In 2014, the franchise once again returned to the cartoon rails, having previously swayed properly to the full third dimension. Yes, the Gauls began to look even more comical, with voluminous noses and a big ... well, you know what immediately catches your eye when you see Obelix.

Asterix Land of the Gods was a wonderful example of humor and fun, for which we love our Gauls so much, slightly pulled up to the current zero years of the XXI century. Diligently and meticulously, the creators of the cartoon were able to give us something new, without spoiling what we fell in love with the misadventures of the inhabitants of the brave village.

And now, in 2019. a new cartoon was released - Asterix and the secret potion, where everything that the authors did in the previous work was properly polished and oiled.

I see no point in retelling the plot or focusing on the best jokes - you can perfectly enjoy all this yourself when you watch this cartoon.

From what I especially liked, I want to note only the following:

- Great music and soundtrack. A few compositions perfectly accompany everything that happens on the screen, and the opening musical theme instantly sets both the mood and the general tone of the picture.

- Characters. Each individual story has always been able to masterfully tell us as about some new character, and there to reveal from a new side already beloved and familiar heroes (yes, the relationship between a blacksmith and a fishmonger will definitely come to a new level). This part was no exception, and our heroes once again have to both save the village and learn something new about themselves and their friends.

- Continuity. The theme of the change of generations, the transfer of knowledge very clearly runs through the entire cartoon. The very idea that someone can replace our beloved Panoramix cannot leave indifferent any fan of Asterix's adventures. That is why, it is doubly pleasant that the creators very skillfully and uncommonly managed to cope with this task and give an excellent ending.

Finally, I would like to end the review with a slogan that I have invented, which I think most accurately describes what is happening with the franchise at the moment - Asterix is ​​a good story that will always be with you.
