War for the Planet of the Apes RIP 4K Review
In terms of the scale of the culmination of this film can not be called, but in the context of the history of the main characters of the three films - for them a lot of things will be decided. And besides, judging by the note on which Matt Rives's painting ends - history has quite a comfortable gap in order to expand its universe and make a worthy competition in the genre.
This time Caesar goes on a run with his relatives from the persecuted their fierce colonel in the face of Woody Harrelson, the psychological opposition between the two characters turned out to be quite successful. Usually the secondary roles of Harrelson in blockbusters are not particularly successful, but in this film the actor still managed to make a small contribution and to enlist the role in the track record.
Action as such in the "War" is not much, except for the introductory scene of the fight in the forest and the final battle - the fan of the spectacle on the screen got a modest picture. The tape could be shortened to two hours, the authors try to play the main concept of this franchise on talking and "thinking" monkeys - hence a lot of silent scenes in search of "digitized" emotions of Andy Serkis.
"War for the Planet of the Apes RIP 4K" represents a new round of this global confrontation between primates and man, the human species expects a little surprise, and judging by the way this surprise was presented in the "War" - there is a very high probability that the franchise will be replenished with new parts after some time. In general, as for the film of its genre - it turned out worthy of the previous parts, although many questions remained unanswered and the film will be delayed a little, there are other pluses in it that leave this review with positive impressions.
