Ahead of the partners, the most terrible test awaits: Jack and Danny find themselves in the real world, where the invincible hero loses his fantastic strength and can now die like any mortal. And for real criminals, the consummate Superman is just another target.

Last Action Hero 4K Review
Danny Madigan is a fan of the movie hero Jack Slater and constantly watches films with his participation in the cinema, whose projectionist, Nick, has long become his friend. One day Nick tells Danny about the Golden Ticket that Harry Houdini gave him. This ticket, according to Houdini, was supposed to be magical and allow its owner to get inside the film. Nick himself never dared to check what was said, fearing to ruin the fairy tale, and gives it to Danny, dividing it into two halves (for the control and for the visitor). Danny watches the Jack Slater IV premiere at night while old Nick falls asleep in the control room. While watching Danny finds himself in his favorite movie - in a world where everything lives according to the “laws of the genre”: good always triumphs over evil, there are no ugly girls, and phone numbers start with 555. Danny is delighted - he found himself in the world of his dreams next to his a hero. But Slater himself does not share his feelings: what Danny considers adventures for Jack is a daily risk, loss of loved ones and pressure from stupid bosses. Danny unsuccessfully tries to prove to Slater that he is a movie character, but helps him in the fight against the local villain Benedict. In the course of their adventures, they become friends, but Benedict unexpectedly gets a Golden Ticket to the real world. In pursuit of Benedict, Danny and Slater also enter the real world. Once in the real world, Jack Slater feels "out of place" - here everything is not at all the same as he used to: falls cause severe pain, the glass of a car cannot be broken with a fist, etc. He even gets depressed from the fact that his whole life is in fact fictitious and spelled out in the script, as well as the death of loved ones. Benedict, meanwhile, plans to return from the third part of the film about Jack his old enemy, the insane killer the Ripper (who is responsible for the life of Jack's son, Benny), so that at the premiere of the film "Jack Slater IV" most deal with Slater. Jack, noticing the Ripper in the hall in time, rescues his "creator" Arnold Schwarzenegger. The actor, thinking that he has encountered his double, offers Jack a job, but Slater tells Schwarzenegger that he "only brings him pain." While pursuing the Ripper, Slater finds himself in a repetition of a situation from his past: the Ripper throws Danny off the roof, and he cannot stop it. But the Ripper dies, and Slater, showing real heroism, rescues Danny, who was kept on the lantern. However, Benedict, still obsessed with the thirst for revenge, manages to mortally wound Jack. Only a miracle can save Slater, which, according to the scenario, always happens with the Action Hero - killed by Jack's well-aimed shot, Benedict drops the Golden Ticket, which falls near the cinema. Showing all his strength, Danny delivers the mortally wounded hero to the cinema and, using the Golden Ticket, sends him back to the film, where Slater quickly recovers from his mortal wounds and prepares for new exploits.
