This week, the most anticipated films for me personally - "Graduation" Vsevolod Brodsky and "Dracula" Harry Shore. Naturally, when there was a choice that to watch on Thursday, we, without hesitation, went to a foreign blockbuster, because of the Russian cinema, nothing good can not wait long.

The film "Dracula" was one of the most anticipated this fall, as his trailer was constantly shown before all the loud and not very novelties of this summer and, given the fact that the brilliant work of Bram Stoker was based on the hope to see something enchanting. Prior to this last qualitative screen adaptation was the eponymous film of Francis Ford Coppola, but even he could not convey the atmosphere that was in the book. And what a disappointment, when, coming to the cinema, we did not see anything close to the original. In my opinion, Stoker's name in the writers did not even need to be written, because everything that was taken from the book could be borrowed from other authors.

Well, okay, let's get to the film itself. Directed by his unknown to me Gary Shore. I do not understand how a person who previously shot only one short film was entrusted with a film with a one-hundred millionth budget, but it is noticeable that every cent was put into production. The scenes of the battle are well worked out and fascinate with their dynamism, the film would look in one breath, despite the story so different with Bram Stoker, if not for one ... But this is the overshooting amount of "snot" on the screen between Dracula Untold and his wife. As practice shows, and most films, it is women who are always at fault. Those who watched, for certain understand that Dracula wanted to give his son to educate the Sultan, but his wife, as always, spoiled everything with her whining. Than all ended it is possible to look in cinema, I will not spoil.

Let's talk about the actors, and first of all about Luke Evans playing Dracula Untold himself. He was not bad in this role, but still gives some secondary after the "Hobbit". You can say that the characters themselves Bard and Vlad Dracula are very similar, but still he is an actor to play a thousand roles. Sarah Gadon, who plays Dracula's wife Mirena, is so terrible and static that she could proudly compete with Kristen Stewart in a notorious franchise. Her game is so terrible that even Evans' strong gusts of showing love between their characters turn the film into some second-class Mexican TV series. Her game can not be trusted even when her child is taken away. By the way, about the child, he was played by an Irishman, Art Parkinson, familiar to many on the cult series "The Game of Thrones". His role is also not original, like that of Evans, but you will agree that there is no special game to be played in 12 years. Who really impressed me was Charles Dance. Pervomavir in his performance turned out so gorgeous and frightening that I had goose bumps every time he appeared on the screen. It is necessary to recognize that in England there has always been a good acting school.

I also want to mention the soundtrack. It was written by Ramin Javadi. In general, it is strange that there are so many of the "Game of Thrones" in the film, two actors performing one of the main roles, the composer. Perhaps the creators wanted to transfer the atmosphere of the series to the film, but they definitely did not miss the music. The soundtrack is impressive, because Ramin wrote music not only to the popular TV series, but also to such blockbusters as "Iron Man" and "The Battle of the Titans". I hope that soon he will receive his Oscar for the best soundtrack, because his ability to create an atmosphere is truly impressive.

In conclusion, I want to say that "Dracula Untold" is a good film and it's worth watching in the cinema. And if you like excessive romanticism and suffer replay, then even more so. After all, there are very few good film stories about Dracula Untold and this is one of them.
