What will a pair of unprofessional ghosts do when their good New England is overrun by snobs from New York? They will hire a private "bio-exorcist" to expel the aliens. And the result will exceed all expectations!
Beetlejuice 4K ReviewA young couple from a provincial town dies unexpectedly after falling off a bridge while driving. They find themselves at home, although they do not remember how they got there. Some kind of supernatural biliberde is going on around, the fireplace lights up by itself, there is a strange grave advertisement on the TV, you can't leave the house because there is a desert with huge carnivorous worms outside the door, and a book with the title "Guide for the Dead" appeared on the table by the bed. But the worst thing is not this, but the fact that an extravagant family from New York almost immediately moves into their house and begins to restore their order, completely ignoring the former owners, who have become ghosts. What to do? Anything but go to a bio-exorcism expert named Beetlejuice!
Despite the fact that the main characters in this film are the roles of Baldwin and Davis, I would put Michael Keaton in the first place. His Beetlejuice is simply gorgeous, from the looks of a drunken clown to a lovely peasant accent. For 17 minutes of screen time, he pleased more than everything else taken together. It's hard to believe that their next movie with Burton is 1989's Batman, where Keaton will play the lead role of Bruce “Batman” Wayne. Otherwise, classic Burton. Dark, gothic, with humor and a little addictive budget decorations (yes, there were great times in cinema without computer graphics).
