Like her brother's once, Debbie is driven not only by a greed for profit. The heroine plans to take revenge on her ex-boyfriend, because of her betrayal she was in prison. However, this part of the picture is much less significant than the Ocean-Benedict-Tess triangle in Ocean's Eleven. For Debbie, revenge is a cherry on the cake, not a cake with cream.

Preparations for the operation and the adventure itself are accompanied by jokes and gags, but Ross does not lean on humor. He did not specifically invite memorable comedians like Melissa McCarthy, so that the picture did not look like a farce. As a result, viewers will be mostly confused by Helen Bonham Carter as a nervous and crazy fashion designer and Anne Hathaway in the image of a blunt and conceited actress. The rest of the heroines radiate coolness and competence, each in its own way.

Unfortunately, the latter is a problem. Ocean's Eight 4K and herself are too flawless to make their adventure stir the audience. Heroines pass through the security system like a knife through the oil. No one even partially deciphers their plan, no one makes them risky improvising, and it seems that stealing diamonds is as easy as getting them out of the nightstand. But if there is no call, then there is no heat of passion. There is not even a feeling that the heroines are in danger. Ross suggests that we admire the Debbie team, and not worry about it, and it's much less exciting than watching Danny's henchmen who walk on the blade of the knife.

On the other hand, admiring the "Girlfriends" can not only be the main characters and their army discipline. The action partially develops in the world of glamor, so in the frame there are luxurious dresses, prohibitively expensive jewelry and celebrities from the cover (not only leading actresses). It is quite obvious that the film was shot for the fair sex, and it was sharpened to the fact that the authors of "Girlfriends" consider "female taste". The picture allows feminist hairpins, radiates a frivolous positive and hints that all evil is from men, and women are excellent friends and work together, even if they come from different countries and peoples. Behind the scenes, light music sounds, the action develops without sagging, and after almost two hours of such a spectacle you feel that you spent time in a warm bath. That is, it was nice, but not as in a session of a sparkling movie like "Ocean's Eleven".
