On an unknown island in the Pacific Ocean is a team of scientists, military and adventurers. They invade the possessions of the powerful Kong and thereby unleash a battle between man and nature. Very soon the research mission turns into a game of survival, its participants have to literally cut their way to salvation.
ReviewsHonestly, I expected from the picture of an American, Jordan Vot-Roberts, a dull passing spectacle. Expectations were not justified.
The cinema is entertaining, which means we are looking at the picture. Indeed, the film is incredibly beautiful. In the very beginning, we see beautiful views of the island of Skull itself. Nature fascinates. The inhabitants of this island are beautiful, slightly fluffy, highly detailed. What is important, the feeling of "computer" does not roll. Also in the "
Kong: Skull Island" viewer is waiting for a very dynamic and diverse action, which will not have time to get bored.
The plot is simple, somewhat predictable. But all the action is decorated with an excellent soundtrack. Here we say thank you to the British composer Henry Jackman. Many characters really want to empathize, and some cause rejection. Unfortunately, all this does not cancel the fact of the existence of such plot and scenario moves, from which you want to scatter and hit your head against the wall. A vivid example: methane does not explode from the flamethrower, but explodes from the lighter. And there are many such moments.
Actors. John Goodman played well, although he did not show anything special. Samuel L. Jackson perfectly got used to the role of a typical warrior. Tom Hiddleston did not like at all. Apparently, they forgot to tell him that a person should sometimes be changed. Bree Larson played well. Jing Tian and Corey Hawkins seem to have been more needed to make the picture tolerant.
Well. As a result, I will say that "
Kong: Skull Island" is a very strong entertainment movie.
