In the first, the accent was on the enmity of two superheroes and Lex Luther flashed on the screen in the performance of Jesse Eisenberg, and eventually the main villain was Doomsday. In the second, after watching the trailer, it is not clear who is destroying everything, but as we watched the film, we realized that it was the Enchantress who, in all the promos for the film, was cast as a member of that same detachment, not the main antagonist. Immediately they decided to hide the villain behind the other two too: General Ludendorff and Dr. Yad. But Diana will still find Ares among the villains of the film, because because of someone the war is on.

Also, DC know everything as a dismal organization in which the last battle scenes are always completely destroyed and you do not always understand where the event is unfolding.
