Dawn Of The Dead 4K Review
Well, those who like to drift along with everyone and gloat when they did not eat you - your "Dawn of the Dead" has arrived. There is something to savor your ancient instincts for sex and blood, even if advanced amateurs take a blockbuster horror film with doubt.

Sarah Paulie is quietly having mercy with her husband before going to bed somewhere in Wisconsin. And here about the benefits of insomnia: all the heroism of Sarah Paulie - that then she woke up first. After all, when in the morning a plague girl with blue eye sockets and a bloody mouth burst into their bedroom, it was all her husband's fault that he was still asleep and they managed to bite him. The husband died immediately, but then woke up and became a plague himself, that is, a zombie. I wanted to bite Sarah. She hid in the bathroom. He was torn. She climbed through the window. Purely terrible dream. But when Sarah fell out into the street, it became clear that this was not a bad dream. Everyone is running. Apparently, the dead have become cramped in the cemeteries, although this has not been explained. Overload, and a couple were pushed out. Well, when they came out, they decided to take revenge. They made all cities and towns dead. Rome, Paris, London, New York. Moscow is not mentioned, although one of the heroines is Russian by passport. She, by the way, is the worst torment of all.

Unbite ones differ from those bitten by articulate speech and firearms. After various chases, they gather and dig in a luxurious supermarket. Those bitten cannot bear it, because they want to eat, and they are interested in the product - only the insides of those who have not been bitten. Neck, handle, breast, tummy. The whole set will be there, as well as shootings, explosions of cars, buses, the labor activity of a chainsaw. The combination of a zombie, a vampire and a ghost in one bottle, which is, apparently, an innovation, in mass form provides rich ground for movie quotations from all horror films at once, which, as it were, does not require explanation. But just advanced amateurs immediately feel that something is not right. And indeed, in "Dawn of the Dead" the dead won the blockbuster.

The horror movie Romero, Argento and their ancestor Corman was the mainstay of cinematic nonconformists and leftists. They sarcastically and filthy mocked ancient instincts and modern cinema, working hard in Group B with a small budget and a great sense of humor. They have never been mainstream. With his debut, current director Zack Snyder betrays the exemplary advertiser who has diligently served Audi, Jeep, Land Rover, Nike, Reebok and Budweiser in the past. How would Romero's remake turned into a purely mainstream dystopia like the past "28 Days Later" or the upcoming "The Day After Tomorrow".

Psychologism and values on the march. Conflict - bad supermarket security guards mock the newcomers and do not allow them to let another pack of newcomers into the supermarket. It is clear what happens next: the living will not only put the security guards under arrest, but the worst of them will be re-educated in the end. Will become a lost hero. Another conflict is whether to shoot a living person if he has already been bitten, but has not yet died and has not woken up to start biting too. It is clear that the relatives are against it, but in the end the underdogs themselves will ask to be shot. Or a close relative will do it himself. In general, the story of "Dawn of the Dead" is not linear, but epic. At first, the surviving humanity was afraid and hid in many ways, then it got used to it and began to settle down in a variety of ways in the new conditions. Here is just - the most humor (with a chess player across the road, with an inedible dog). Finally, it even ventured to equip a certain "Noah's Ark" and break through to a certain "Mount Ararat", and all the creatures were in pairs. In general, the Bible, not a horror movie.

Only on the end credits there is a bit of hooliganism, but it does not change anything. Dawn of the Dead is clearly a politically correct, mainstream allegory. In this vein, keeping the humor of Romero and Argento, one cannot help but guess what this is really about. All the characters in the film are walking and bipedal. But out of them, crowds of bloody and cyanotic, hungry and aggressive are, therefore, the dead. Therefore, a few who are still not blue can shoot them for their own pleasure, giggling and competing in accuracy. "Can you Burt Reynolds (the zombie looks like Burt Reynolds)?" "Can you Britney Spears (zombie looks like Britney Spears)?" A parody of Hollywood is the tenth thing here. The first is that a few "live" films are getting their license to shoot the rest. Yes, even all. They're zombies.
This license is stronger than the plot as much as "seeing" is more convincing than "hearing". And she is not at all curious in the history of horror films or in the history of cinema. It communicates something about the state of mind in America today. "International terrorism", the second "Desert Storm" ...
