The Lion King 4K Review

The Lion King in 4k is the first of several scheduled 3D versions of classic Disney movies. Having looked at it, you again understand why this tape in its time became a hit from hits. As part of the animation, this is one of the best films in the entire history of the studio: spectacular, picturesque African landscapes are combined with recognizably Disney and impeccably realistic characters. And the plot, which the creators of the film inspired by Hamlet, and the songs of Elton John today make the same strong impression as before. Conversion to The Lion King 4K works just fine: the remaining 2D segments do not look like “pop-up windows” at all, and the scenes shot with the help of computer graphics (for example, the stampede of wildebeest) are stunning. Not that 3D miraculously transformed the original version, it is nothing more than the cherry on the cake, but this breathtaking film initially hardly needs any special improvements.
