The Lego Movie 2 The Second Part 4K - The plot of the cartoon unfolds several years after the events of the first part and the victory over Lord Business. Now the LEGO world heroes living in the city of Bricksburg will face the threat of the invaders Duplo, who turned the city into a post-apocalyptic desert and captured Emmett's beloved (Chris Pratt), Lucy (Elizabeth Banks).
The Lego Movie 2 The Second Part 4K - After the end of the first part of the world of "Lego" treacherously attacked the evil cubes of Duplo, the life of Emmet Brikowski and his friends turned into a grim parody of "Mad Max." There are only ruins around, the remains of the city are surrounded by a tall wall in case of the return of destructive aliens. However, they save only for the time being - due to Emmett's mistake, the enemy penetrates the fortress and takes the most powerful representatives of Lego-world, including Batman and Lucy, onto the girl's planet (practically its literal name). But the infantile Emmett leaves where he was - and he, of course, goes to help his friends on his own. And on the way to other worlds, he meets Rex the Bulletproof vest - a hyperbolized action hero who agrees to help Emmett become sterner.
Franchise "Lego" - a phenomenon quite amazing. Only in the epoch of total consumerism and the same total postmodern the series, called upon only to sell more company designers, could turn out to be one of the most sincere and creative among all the world animation. "Lego. The film, from which five years ago didn't really expect anything (except those who are well acquainted with the names of its creators, Phil Lord and Chris Miller), ideally fell into the spirit of the times when references to pop culture from a pleasant bonus become form-building force, and various multiverse get out packs of a hundred pieces a day. All this obsession with references and media relations is in its essence very much like a child's game with figurines of your favorite heroes - where you can push Superman and Gandalf together, even push the crowd into a spacecraft. "Lego. The film "only brought her back to the most literal sources.
The franchise has since grown into two more (quite good) cartoons, but "Lego. The film has remained standing alone as a work absolutely in itself, whole and, in general, completely finished - his stupid cliffhanger at the end was perceived as just another joke than a serious reserve for anything. But the continuation was still launched into production, and it was very interesting how the wonderful inventors of Lord and Miller would get out: the very essence of the sequels they had already performed in the second Macho and Botana, and now they obviously needed a different approach. Their answer, of course, exceeded all expectations and stands somewhere between impassable stupidity and absolute genius: they seemed to decide that the best approach was to have no approach at all.
They collected a whole scenario room (where the creator of "Horse BoJ", Raphael Bob-Waksberg was also called in) and threw in a hundred or two gags: everything that had just occurred. And then, without filtering, and almost without structuring this thing, they threw the whole team into the film: successful jokes next to walk-throughs, witty ones with the most obvious, gags about Abraham Lincoln and pain at childbirth - to an awkward children's slepstik.
At first glance, this is the most obvious symptom of the usual illness of sequels: trying to be bigger, taller, funnier. We liked the references in the first part - now we, without much need for it, called even more stars for second roles, and one of the central heroes is literally a walking meta link to our performer Chris Pratt. Sing to Everything is Awesome - get some more corrosive pop songs, about whose corrosiveness and pop music the film will remind at every opportunity. Trembling before the emotional moral promise - well, lucky to read the morality of "Lego. Film-2 "began several times harder.
At the worst moments (and at the best too), he really looks like a clone of the first part under some kind of drugs, which obviously shouldn't be written in the text about the children's cartoon. The Lego Movie 2 The Second Part UHD "became much more colorful, crazier, more dynamic - despite the fact that the original was far from austerity. His orgy of Gags, references, creative ideas and scattered scenes, somehow brought down in a common narrative, at some moments almost turns into full psychedelia - with extremely close-ups and Dutch corners in the spirit of early Peter Jackson, it's scary and funny from her, and somehow in evil fun. But, interestingly, all schizophasic tonal shifts fit perfectly into the irrational world of children's fun, which, of course, "Lego. Film-2 "is the first.
The first part was about how childish spontaneity is trying to break through adult skepticism - and therefore, probably, somehow kept herself in hand. The second is about humility with even greater spontaneity, children's creative orgy in the face of the younger sister, seeking to destroy the last remnants of order and meaning. And in this sense, "Lego. Film-2 is incredibly difficult to assess - whether this is a brilliant sequel, which has sharply curtailed from "post-" to a deep "meta-", or a cute chaotic confusion, which you just really want to justify. True, as always, somewhere in the middle.
