Together, they will have to solve a complex matter, on which the fate of all the inhabitants of Zeropolis will depend.
Zootopia 4K Review
Once upon a time, animals were divided into predators and herbivores, and some hunted others. However, this primitive era is a thing of the past. Now all the animals have found reason, and they have learned to live together without devouring each other. But even in their utopia, crimes happen, and the provincial rabbit Judy Hopps since childhood dreams of becoming a police officer. Although usually only large and powerful animals like tigers, bears and elephants are hired, Hopps makes his way through all the trials of the police academy and becomes the first cop hare in the history of the metropolis Zootopia. When she enters the service, she is instructed to write parking fines, but this does not stop her. To prove that hares can be no worse cops than other animals, Judy undertakes to solve the case of the abduction of 14 predatory animals, which confused her more experienced colleagues.

33 years ago, British science fiction satirist Terry Pratchett invented a universe called Flat World. Before his death last year, he wrote 41 novels about the Flat World, and each of these books became a bestseller. Why is it here? In addition to the fact that for the first time in its history, Walt Disney did not just release a wonderful animated film, but created on the screen such a multifaceted and surprisingly rich world that it seems that 41 animated films could be drawn about it, and the audience would not be tired of watching them. How tired Pratchett fans are to read about the adventures of the colorful and hilarious inhabitants of a flat planet.

Of course, “Zootopia 4K” is far from the first animated story about the world of anthropomorphic animals (that is, animals that wear clothes and walk on their hind legs), and Disney people themselves have drawn a lot of such cartoons in the past. But not one of these paintings could boast that almost every key shot was invested in tens and hundreds of man-hours spent on inventing a city where shrews and giraffes can interact on equal terms.
Just imagine - so that Zootopia UHD could accommodate residents from around the world, builders divided it into many natural and high-altitude zones, each of which has its own climate and its own architecture. If Judy needs to bounce in the elephant quarter to reach the counter, then in the small rodent quarter she rises above the inhabitants like King Kong and almost demolishes the whole quarter in pursuit of a criminal of his height. And this is not just a visual detail - it is a key plot element. So, for example, the fox-cheater Nick, who in the course of action became a "snitch" and Judy's assistant, uses the difference in scale for one of his frauds. He turns one elephant ice cream into a hundred lemming candies and capitalizes on the difference in price. Isn't it delicious?
While many cartoons of this kind fit animals to the same size (remember the Disney TV shows “Duck Tales” and “Miracles on Bends”) and actually make people out of characters in furry and feathered skins, Zveropolis Ultra HD constantly emphasizes the physiological difference between the characters and finds all new graphic and plot ways to beat her. His characters are not disguised people, but real animals. But these are animals in the city where there are police, mafia, corrupt officials, inconspicuous employees, petty businessmen, limousine services, fines for parking, cell phones, television, the Internet ... And even a pop star is a gazelle, voiced by Shakira, who recorded for “ Zootopia 4K ”title track.
In essence, the film world is as complex as real modern life. It is even more complicated, because animal realities are added to human realities - the aforementioned differences in size and climatic predilections and the inevitable frictions arising from the interaction of different species. The plot of the picture revolves around the mutual distrust of predators and herbivores, but if the Disney people want to continue the story of “Zootropolis 4K”, it will be easy for them to find in nature and transfer to the screen new sources of simultaneously dramatic and funny conflicts.
