Ben Affleck seriously engaged in directing, and gave out the second qualitative drama. This is especially nice after a series of mediocre comedies and melodramas with him over the past six or eight years, which could be watched, but not at all necessary. Apparently, Ben realized that this way does not lead anywhere, money and glory from him have long been enough, we must return to the origins. Namely, to the times when he and Matt Damon were just entering the big Hollywood, making great scripts ... In short, this story is long and not very interesting, therefore, directly about "Argo". The director and actor Affleck made a realistic drama based on real events.

I had no idea what was happening in Iran, and particularly in Tehran in the late 70's, I was not even in the world even then. Thanks to this film it became known that the US special services carried out all sorts of operations, including the rescue of their compatriots from the paws of the military, and someone else there. In "Argo" we are talking about six prisoners, who also volunteered to get out of trouble Affleck - a special agent of the CIA. The moral of the film is simple - we are responsible for them. In part, it's strange that the main characters, including the experienced directors of Hollywood, are so desperately trying to help out the trouble of 6 people, while much more was lost there.

But in the United States love such stories, so why not, every life is precious! Whatever it was, the evacuation took not so much time, and since there is not a military thriller, then the actors and the plan of Tony Mendes are of special interest. It was interesting to arrange a piece with shooting a fantastic film, a film crew, and most importantly, the behavior of team members at the airport. And if the first half of the film is not impressive, then from the moment of preparation to, in fact, to run back home, it's much more interesting. What to say, Ben Affleck reincarnated coolly, and in the role of a bearded and hairy specialist in a jacket of the 70's looks unusual.

He had a serious role here, no worse than in the previous "City of Thieves". All the rest are no worse than the goodman in the role of director, that the hostages, all as one in amusing huge glasses. The scene at the airport in the final is the strongest, well, it really keeps you in suspense, you worry about the "fugitives", well, they will either take off or not! So the proper effect of "Argo" produces. There are no shortcomings in such a movie, I do not even know what to find fault with in a good drama based on real events and with excellent actors. And Afflek Respect is for the umpteenth time - now he can be considered a full-fledged director. So, I recommend!
