The devil himself is embodied in the image of a fatal and dangerous girl - Perdita Durango. Durango in the language of the Indians is "cocky". Evil attracts evil, and Perdita finds a partner - Romeo Dolorosa, a real gangster and maniac, driven by animal instincts.
Their lives are car and helicopter chases, fights and shootings, drugs, bloody love and voodoo magic. They are being hunted by the FBI, police and gangsters.
What they are planning and what they can achieve together, one can only guess, but they are able to meet the most unthinkable expectations.
Perdita Durango 4K ReviewAnother trash from de la Iglesias, plot, organizational and style, is certainly secondary to what Rodriguez did a little earlier, confidently introducing Mexican landscapes and characters for action-packed black comedies to the peak of fashion. 'Perdita' is in a sense an achievement of style, a decorative work with the constituent subgenre and Rosa Perez, which is fading despite her advanced age. I don’t know how the novel is in the original, but the film adaptation in terms of plot and script is not a masterpiece.
Iglesias has always had vivid visual fantasies and a number of scenes with Bardem are absolutely unforgettable. Actually, the film is worth watching because of Bardem, who has now become a recognized world star and has gained a reputation as a serious actor, and in the nineties he had fun recklessly, grimacing. The role of Bardem in this film surpasses his recognized works by the brothers Cohen and Mendes in terms of disgust, make-up, and fooling around, so the picture should be viewed as a circus, an attraction in which the soloist is head and shoulders above partners, material, and so on. Suffice it to say that Bardem, among other things, also depicts a sorcerer who chops off a leg from a corpse, drinks blood, spits this blood in others, repeatedly sparkles with his bare ass, rotates his eyes. Well, a pure circus, you can't help but watch: he will not do this anymore.
