Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins 4K ReviewI haven't watched Cobra Toss for a long time, but I do remember that Snake Eyes was white. What's this? A relaunch that decided to leave at the expense of the fanbase of past films? Simply, nothing has changed much. All the same stupid and even worse.
In our yard, MARVEL rules in the genre of "cinematic comics", and here comes the story about the young and extremely stupid Snake Isa. As a child, the boy witnessed the death of his father, which predetermined his meaning of life - revenge for the folder. To achieve this goal, the hero goes to literally everything. Will betray everyone, but he will kill the executioner of his father. He frowns his eyebrows, lowers his head, lifts his shoulders, takes a fighting stance and goes to mutuz the crowd of reckless and screaming Japanese. Here's just one question. What for? Why was it impossible to reconcile, get an education, and then get a good job and live happily ever after? Or you could try to reveal the father. What kind of relationship did they have that the death of the folder influenced the kid so much that he was so stupid that he would not be able to immediately distinguish enemies from allies in the future? It is extremely strange to see such plot moves when the film adaptations of comics have long ago made a big step forward towards conditional realism.
Even more funny are the characters' characters. All the heroes are as naive as children, but they all look over thirty. Looks like they were poisoned with something in childhood. Surely a beginner - a substance that keeps a juvenile moron inside you. So to speak, forever young, stupid and carefree on the inside, but harsh on the outside. Because there is another reason I do not know why the characters throughout the film begin to change their attitude towards each other for no reason.
In short, this is a very strange decision to restart the franchise, without introducing anything new, but adding giant anacondas that see the inside of a person and a red magic stone that for some reason cannot be used. And I don't care if it was in the original source, the important thing is how all this is presented in the stupidest way in the film.
