The famous Italian plumbing brothers Mario and Luigi open a portal to an underground city from which they must rescue the captive Princess Peach.
The Super Mario Bros. Movie 4K ReviewAs a Mario fan, I really enjoyed it. The movie runs an hour and 24, which makes it fly by in lightning speed, but it's a shame it's so short, I wish there was more (and yes, I know there will be a sequel). Bowser played by Jack Black is awesome, takes every scene he does (and his song about Peach will stick in my head for a long time, as it's one of the best moments of the movie). Lots of fanservice (from the tentative title theme of the '90s Mario series in the Mario and Luigi plumbing commercials to the cameo of the man who voiced him in every game). The plot is average, nothing special, but interesting to watch. The soundtrack is the bomb. For the other characters have nothing much to say (Peach not annoying, and the rest are just running in the background for extras, Mario lacks an Italian accent (it was the same parents), and Luigi here plays the role of Peach from the games, as the main plot unfolds around him, although the games is Peach we always saved, but here she helps us save Luigi) recommend it. one of the best projects of the year at the moment.
