"Thirst for Death" is an American criminal thriller Death Wish 4K, a remake of the 1974 tape of the same name with Charles Bronson, which in turn is based on the book of Brian Garfield. The film was directed by Eli Roth ("Fever", "Hostel"), Willis was composed of Vincent D'Onofrio, Elizabeth Shue and Dean Norris.

"Death Wish 4K" Elia Rota is also a remake of the very first of a series of five films about the avenger Paul Kersey, played by the legendary Charles Bronson in 1974, and a new, more authentic reading of the same novel by Brian Garfield, released in 1972 and became the basis for adaptations. Eli Roth is one of Tarantino's closest friends; for a long time he specialized in shooting low-cost horror films, but after experiencing a mid-life crisis and rethinking some values, he decided to look for inspiration not in the throes of a dashing trash, but in a new way to thrillers of the seventies of the last century. Four years ago, he photographed and rethought the little-known insane "Death Game" of 1977, making her a "Who's There" thriller with Keanu Reeves, and now modernized the real classics of the genre, adding elements and style to the first "Pipts".
Even at the early stages of work on the film, Eli Roth had no doubt that only the legendary Bronson Bruce Willis could play the role of "Kersey of the XXI Century". And not only because Bruce had his answer to the rigidity of the five-part "Death Wish 4K" in the form of no less rigid five-series "Strong Nuts", but also because of Willis' closeness to the original text and meaning of Garfield's novel, three quarters of which the future avenger is depicted not as a ruthless fighter of all scum, but a quiet, sentimental and completely humane inhabitant of a megalopolis, with its own complexes and torments. Therefore, tune in to the fact that the new "Thirst for Death" is a much more soulful and dramatic project than the original film, in which simple and maximally accessible cinematic language shows not only violence scenes, but also traditional, harmonious family values.
