Resident Evil Extinction 4K ReviewThe powerful corporation Umbrella infects the planet with a terrible virus that turns people into zombies. A handful of survivors wander the planet in search of a place where there are no living dead. One of these groups is joined by the main character Alice, in the past special agent of Umbrella, and now the main enemy of the corporation. Together with people, she intends to go to some place in Alaska, isolated from the outside world. However, the schemers from Umbrella, located in the bunkers underground, want to catch the traitor. There is something in her blood that inhibits the "T" virus and can turn zombies into obedient slaves.
Abode is considered the most successful computer game adaptation. Other attempts to transfer the action of a toy to the screen, for example, such a cult one as Doom / Doom / (2005), enjoyed much less success. But, it would seem, "Doom" is a classic "shooter" with all the attributes of a strong action movie, while "Resident Evil" is a kind of fantastic horror quest with elements of action. The film rights were acquired from the Japanese creators of the game by the German film company Constantin Film Produktion, and Jovovich's current boyfriend Paul Anderson took the director's chair of the first tape (before that he had already transferred the action of the game Mortal Kombat (1995) to the screen). Through his efforts, the film grossed about 103 million with a budget of $ 33 million. Anderson turned down the offer to shoot the second part in favor of the project "Alien vs. Predator" / AVP: Alien vs. Predator / (2004), and debutant Alexander Witt was appointed director of the second "abode". The budget grew to 45 million, and the box office was almost 130 million. The third part was directed by the ace of mid-budget fiction Russell Malkey ("Highlander" / Highlander / (1986), "Real McCoy" / Real Mccoy, The / (1993)). In some completely incomprehensible way, for just 45 million, he made a glamorous, spectacular post-apocalyptic movie. Cities lie in ruins, the living dead roam the earth hoping to eat human flesh, survivors fight among themselves for the remains of food and gasoline, while corrupt scientists from Umbrella continue to perform disgusting experiments on people in sterile bunkers deep underground. In general, it is beautiful to eerie (literally in places). Along the way, Mulkei reflects on the harm of the boundless power of corporations, globalization, corruption, and regenesis. That each new discovery of scientists is another step towards the abyss. And all this is true, and perhaps it is worth thinking about.
But, in truth, what kind of regenesis is there, what kind of globalization, when the luxurious Milla Jovovich in extravagant and in some places very sexy outfits (a revealing red dress and army boots) mows down zombies with huge knives or tears them apart with her beautiful hands.
