It is noteworthy that in the first act of the cosmos George Lucas, the conflict was presented in the most traditional way: everyone who is with us is good, and those who fly on the Star Destroyer and other megafiles are bad, we will fight with them. A fantastically large-scale entourage favored an elementary plot, unable to become obsolete even for the reason that people are always created with someone and fight for something. It is as if the Imperials were cutting the hope they had found with such difficulty on a glass surface, and the terrifying Darth Vader seemed to surpass himself in ruthlessness. The shoot-out makes sure Star Wars doesn't have to be a child story. The forced demarcation, friction in the relations of the heroes are so natural that all the fantasies appear to be nothing more than a shell.

It would be an exaggeration to say that the story still revolves around Luke and his friends. Kerschner busily polishes the image of a dark lord, impressive at the same time and some deeply hidden personal vulnerability. All the unparalleled cruelty of Darth Vader, the fruits of which are now accompanied by the Imperial March, inspire a comparison with a powerful metropolis that irritably reacts to the riot of the colony. There is no more reliable argument of influence than fear, and it, used in tandem with uncertainty, does retaliation against a handful of rebels. With the exception of the turmoil on the planet Hoth, Vader looks like an almost flawless commander, effectively predicting enemy moves. However, Star Wars would quickly lose its attractive aura if feelings had been brought to the detriment, without which the most charming heroes are nothing more than cute objects.

Love, courage and faith with three elephants carry the mainland of the film. The timelyly used romantic aspect allowed Kerschner to exaggerate wherever it was needed. Luke’s training is furnished as a difficult test, partly in the spirit of medieval knightly initiations. Shamelessly stealing screen time Yoda not only deepens and complicates the implication of the future battle with Vader, but also truly reveals the phenomenon of Strength. One of the main notions of Lucas does not need too detailed explanations when you can turn to the soul. Sometimes it’s easier in life to believe in something that not everyone is given. Friendship as a motive for action can perfectly harmonize with purpose, and, without a doubt, Kerschner's wonderful find was a short dialogue between Yoda and Luke about the uncertainty of the future. As far as the planets Khot, Dagoba and Bespin are not alike, the methods of warfare differ as well. The one that is commonly called partisan was originally planned by Lucas, but the further the plot developed and expanded, the more interesting it became to observe the fermentation in the ranks of the imperials themselves. Nowadays, the secret of Darth Vader is known to everyone, and after its discovery, you can rethink what you saw earlier. Like a runaway empress, the intrigue returns when they begin to forget about her, and coupled with gloom, this guarantees the picture self-sufficiency.

The synthesis of adventure, action and romance with a small share of politics made the fifth episode the most “adult” film from the classic trilogy. Somehow, inconspicuously, Lucas and Kerschner were forced to doubt the predetermined outcome of the entire war. Without questioning the importance of the rebel mission, the characters begin to think about their own goals and dreams. What can I say if even the theme of betrayal is playfully presented in the picture. It correlates with foresight, for psychology is the same everywhere. Terrible things do not cancel the simplicity of perception - in the main, the new director turned out to be a loyal follower of the old. The form still dominates the content, constructs its nooks, determines the turns and scatters the branches, but does this no longer so uncompromisingly. The cosmic magic of Star Wars is even more constant than the Strength inside the Jedi. Flying into hyperspace, dramatic sword fights, the desire of every person, creature or droid to note useful actions - there are actually more “retaliatory strikes” than just one. And it so happened that it was from the fifth episode that it was possible to truly feel the severity of the losses, without which not a single battle can do. While the demonic enemy puffs heavily somewhere nearby, the sword does not lie behind the belt for long, and the blaster is in a holster.
