New secrets of the "blue men"

The translation of the franchise about the blue shorties from the semi-artistic to the animated format has only benefited her, allowing her to focus more attention on the smurfs themselves, the details of their appearance, the objects of everyday life and other things, and the whole magical world where they live. This is, perhaps, one of the main advantages of the animated cartoon "Smurfs: The Lost Village" in front of the two previous series.

With the plot, it was not necessary to philosophize, the good was a comic at hand, and the second film prudently left an "unresolved issue" that was easily developed in "... The Lost Village." In the center of the story is Smurfetka, who will find her place among her brothers, and, most importantly, figure out who she really is, is she a real smurf? This will entail cheerful and dangerous adventures, in which the friends of Smurfetka Nedotepa, Umnik and Silach, and then other Smurfs, will first become involved.

The smallest in this story should please the dynamism of events, a juicy, full of bright colors, a picture in which the animators did not stint on the details, beautifully tracing everything to a leaf on the tree and insects in the grass, as well as simple, but memorable characters like a cute rabbit, and real flowers with secrets. For the elders there are already quite complex questions of friendship and not such simple relations between smurfs as they may seem at first glance. Trust, love, honesty, devotion, self-sacrifice - these and other topics will be raised more than once in the course of action. In terms of children's understanding, of course, but very seriously, almost "grown-up."

The viewers and inhabitants of the Lost Village will be pleased with the audience, where Smurfetka's comrades are waiting for a lot of discoveries, although the inhabitants are divided entirely according to the classical principle: there are wise leaders who "need everything", are friendly and sociable, immediately taking guests into hugs, but gloomy and wary, a trick still without any reason.

We should not be disappointed by the further development of events, where the creators, in particular, succeeded well not leaving indifferent sentimental-dramatic scene and denouement with the finale.

If almost all of the acquaintances in two films about smurfs of characters were revealed to us from new and sometimes very unexpected sides, then the main villain in the person of sorcerer Gargamel is still conservative and does not change himself in anything - neither in habits, nor in actions, nor in words , or in jokes. The latter at first are still ridiculous, but already somewhere in the middle they get a little bored, and by the end they start to irritate, like Gargamel himself, too stupid even for an evil wizard from a children's fairy tale. This character in the continuation, if it follows, requires a reboot, like his escort in the face of a red-haired kotyary, who this time is not very talkative (which you can not call a plus for the cartoon), but, perhaps, the dumbest and the most faithful in the history of animation the eagle to the middle of the action is also more annoying than laughing. In general, the "villainous wing" in the third part with its functions still coping, but in the following, if nothing changes, it can already greatly spoil the impression of history, regardless of its plot.

As a result: the cartoon has presented many pleasant emotions and under certain conditions the franchise's prospects are more than good.
