This healer is a European woman (Tilda Swinton), who leads a secret magical order. She devotes Strange to the secrets of magic and explains that a person with his talents can achieve even more in witchcraft than in medicine.

For centuries, people obsessed with tea and meditation have thought through every movement and every element of the situation to create the perfect tea party and then repeat it ad infinitum. Each element here in its place, every little thing works for the big picture, and behind every nuance there are decades of genre searches.
Secondly, the devil is always in the details, and the details of Doctor Strange UHD are superb and bewitching. This is not a banal magic canvas in which magicians throw fireballs and ice arrows. During the battles, the Strange sorcerers redraw reality. They turn walls into ceilings, and corridors into addictive wells. They cross universes and manipulate portals and time. “We are rewriting the source code for the universe,” explains the heroine of Swinton to skeptic Strange. And she and her colleagues actually do such things that even Neo from the Matrix and the characters of the Beginning could not even dream of. Maurits Escher would cry with delight if he saw how the Hollywood people developed the ideas of his “impossible” illustrations.

The magic of the film can be described for a long time, but not a single description will do justice to the work that, judging by the credits, hundreds of designers, artists and animators worked on. The magic of Strange is crazy, surreal, amazingly stylish and very inventive. At the same time, the picture keeps itself in hand and does not turn into a meaningless pile of pixels. Each battle scene has a goal, an internal drama, a clear sequence of events. And the main character shows not only skill, but also the mind when it defeats especially strong rivals.
Of course, the transcendent reality of “Strange” is difficult to take seriously, but the picture does not require this. According to the glorious Marvelian tradition, dramatic ranting is interspersed with unexpected and witty jokes (really witty, not toilet-stupid!). Although gloomy events take place in the film, this is by no means a gloomy and oppressive movie. The Ultra HDR Strange entertains from the first to the last minute, and its final bout is, it seems, the funniest battle in the entire history of Marvel films.
