Difficult return home

We have long been accustomed to the fact that all the films in which there is a flight into space, represent either fantasy or fantasy, together with a horror film. But Ron Howard, taking up the production of a biographical novel by Jim Lowell, crossed out this stereotype. On the pages of the novel, like in the film, it is told about a triple of astronauts who are going to land on the moon, but there is a breakdown. Being outside our atmosphere, the heroes will have to fight for their lives to return to their planet. And on Earth, the head of the flight and the astronaut, who remains the will of the case at home, try their best to come up with how to save the crew.

So, as you understand, we will observe the vicissitudes of the struggle for life from two places: inside the spaceship and inside the NASA building in Houston. Do not look that the film lasts two hours and twenty minutes, believe me, the film, even if it's a drama (although the exact designation of the genre Apollo 13 is a biography, an art chronicle), keeps in suspense, observe all the actions of the main characters very interesting and inside you can feel the growing strength empathy.

This could not be achieved if not properly selected actor's ensemble, consisting entirely of real professionals. The main role is played by Tom Hanks. One of the brightest "stars" of Hollywood, outwardly a very nice person, with kind eyes, confidently and unerringly coped with his role. A year before the premiere of "Apollo 13" he brilliantly performs his character in the beautiful film "Forrest Gump", and now it's the captain of the ship, intelligent and charismatic, it only looks "teddy bear", but when the crisis comes, Jim Lovell becomes hard as a stone, and his words or orders are not subjected to doubts and are executed immediately.

In assistants to the hero Hanks, Bill Paxton and Kevin Bacon were spotted. The first one is the captain's friend, the second one got unexpectedly into the team and went on a flight. Both successfully cope with the roles. Paxton does not doubt that he is really a friend and a right hand. Bacon does not quite fit organically into the team for the film, but as an actor he clearly shows the image and character of his character. I would also like to mention Ed Harris. Such a powerful statue, so superbly played by the head of the flight to Earth, I did not expect. I know that this actor has a great talent, but here, as the best male role of the second plan, he definitely deserved it. In his eyes, even read what he sincerely worries about and wants only that the astronauts returned home. He speaks so fervently speeches, he without any doubts makes everyone work for wear and does not regret himself. Just some ideal of a real leader, I would even say to the President. And, of course, I will not forget under Gary Sinais, who showed his hero with the nobility and elbow feeling, he worked, not giving himself a rest, so that those who encountered the problem could get out of it.

So, we have an excellent picture, based on real events, that adds a couple of points to the film. It was played and delivered very naturally, as far as we can judge about flights to space, even the atmosphere of the film was so well-adjusted that it was even possible to feel the chilling cold and anxious fuss. In the atmosphere of this film, much is laid down, why it is impossible not to be imbued with a picture. Actors are impeccable, no one pulls the blanket on, everyone does their job, both in the story and in the performance of their roles. "Apollo 13" I would call the heroic epic of our days. I wish that nowhere and no one has a breakdown in the literal and figurative sense.
