The film Solo: A Star Wars Story 4K tells about the adventures of the young space daredevil Khan Solo and his faithful partner Chewbacca and how they became the fastest pilots and the most cunning smugglers of the distant Galaxy.

"Solo: A Star Wars Story 4K" can be safely considered one of the most long-suffering and sad cinematographic products of this year. At first glance, nothing boded ill. Similar to the previous branch of the "Outcast One" series, during the production of which the script was rewritten many times, the director Gareth Edwards was removed from the final editing, and the entire final act of the film was re-shot by those involved for additional filming Tony Gilroy, "Solo: A Star Wars Story 4K" from the very beginning he was in the industrial hell.

The script was also repeatedly rewritten, there appeared the conversations that the performer of the main role Alden Ehrenraik played so badly that the studio had to hire a special "teacher" and shoot a fabulous number of duplicates of the same scenes, the director duet of Phil Lord and Christopher Miller was dismissed with disgrace, and in their place came Oscar-winning Ron Howard, who reshoot almost the whole film. However, to enter the same river twice to the creators of the picture failed and if the "Outcast one" became as a result of all this industrial hell a hit with collections of a billion or more dollars, then "Khan Solo" certainly became one of the loudest failures of the year and the most a painful blow to the vanity of the Disney studio.

If we take as a whole, then the potential of the picture was also initially quite interesting. Since the creators of the tape decided to tell the story of perhaps one of the most popular and favorite heroes of the personal franchise, a separate spin-off about which the fans demanded and waited for several decades.

The whole film is a single fan-service. Willingly showing the audience how Khan and Chewbacca got acquainted, how Khan got his canonical blaster and got the Millennium Falcon, how he got acquainted with Lendo and similar Easter eggs that remained off-screen for many years in the picture abound. That certainly can be considered a real gift for loyal fans of the franchise. However, it was not possible to develop all the ambitiousness of the idea to the creators of the tape.
