Twenty years have passed. Renton returns to the only place that he can consider his home. They all wait for him: Cob, Cajfol and Begbi. And along with them other old acquaintances: revenge and fear, hatred and love, friendship, regret and hope. All of them lined up, welcoming Renton, and he seems to be ready to join them.

The film is certainly good as an independent work, but to fully immerse in its atmosphere it is worthwhile to first look at the original, which by the way has long earned the status of a cult.

From now on, perhaps it's worth starting to consider both films as a whole, perfectly complementing each other. If the first film revolves around drugs, talked about carefree youth, then the second speaks about lived years and missed opportunities, as well as about responsibility. If in the first film the characters are still ahead, then in the second one they are already long behind, but they are not lost in the world, and do something with their lives.

This is about the general philosophy of the film, but it's also worth talking about the characters, and they are shown with excellent craftsmanship in this film. The first film was devoted primarily to Renton's experiences, while Kocherizhka, Franco and Cayfolum faded into the background. And so the second film is remarkable, so he takes that beautifully about the life of the company, once friends, on behalf of all, and not just one person.

Everyone in this company is important, everyone is significant. It was a pleasure to observe the ugly habits of Kayfalom, the reincarnation of the Cob, the attempts of Franco to enter the life that had rejected him. Although the main characters are still assholes, but they are pleased to empathize. The audience was presented with unique personalities. Note that not every film is capable of creating such bright and interesting characters, while the second Trayneaspotting neatly moves the pen about the heroes of the first part.

In addition to the characters, I also want to note the general atmosphere of the film. She came out nicely, neon-melancholy, noir. It is realized due to colorful, contrasting scenes with each other. Then the viewer moves to the old pub of Kayfalom, then to the usual city apartment, then to the depressive scenery of the Kocherzhki, which managed to play different colors during the film. There is no place in this world that would not be remembered for its simplicity and elegance.

Summing up all of the above, I want to say that the creators managed to realize not just a separate sequel, they created a film that is a piece of the whole and together with the first it tells a very interesting story about four gouges whose personalities for the fans of the first film have become even more alive and interesting .
